MICRO FRINGE

Slight surface structures providing a barely-there soft pile and luscious embellishment. Plays on contrasts between comfort and formalized elegance. 

Layered into tiers or cut into strips for a decorative texturized structure. Ranging from sheer translucent yarns for lightweight cover or ultra fine fringed leather for added dimension. Below are explorations of different mediums being cut and embroidered to examine variances in effects through identical construction. 

WABI SABI COMPOSITIONS

Embracing and highlighting imperfections with purpose and sustainably re-envisioning and repurposing waste. These imperfect materials have a compelling up-cycling narrative.

Taking advantage of the silicon's pliableness throughout the curing process, inlaid yarn clipping are layered to create depth and texture. It provides a rubberized and technical tactile experience while invoking the notion of flexibility.

 To amplify the concept's cracked porcelain narrative, a crackle sound effect was developed through the topical finish treatment. It is unveiled through the consumer's interaction with the product.

MAXIMAL PRYSMATIC

With consistent failures of foiled synthetics, the vibrant iridescent is realized through pigmentation. Engineered to withstands bally flex and increase the material's overall longevity.
PLASTIC BAG GLOSS
​
This synthetic package provides stretch and recovery while displaying the subtle creases seen in plastic bags. Subtle at first glance yet impactful through touch.

multifaceted surface. Malleability alongside duality offer the perfect fit for a deconstructable comfort.

This stretch TPU circular knit textile provides protection, high perfomance texturized surface, and delivers a responsive construction. 
TRANSPARENT WAFFLE

Featherweight woven enabling sheer cover and breathable all day comfort. The TPE yarns allow for strength and flex resistance.
